YSU Newman Students
254 W. Madison Avenue
Once again the YSU Newman club comes through to provide an extra dose of happiness for the families at Beatitude House. Because of you and your donation of family Easter baskets, the women and children of Beatitude House will start this spring with a more positive outlook for their futures. The assortment of food and treats in the unique baskets brought smiles to the moms' faces when we presented them on Holy Thursday. Thank you for helping them to seize this season as an opportunity to build a new beginning.
As the earth shakes off the dead weight of winter, the families in our program slough off the dead weight of an old life. Choosing a new, more productive lifestyle, our clients begin working hard to make tough changes and accomplish new goals such as returning to school, obtaining a job, and getting their drivers' licenses; all are changes that benefit their families as well as the entire community.
Please take this time to enjoy the pleasant weather and new greenery that is emerging and remember that without your help, the women and children of Beatitude House could never emerge from their old lives with such positive hopes for their futures! For all that you've done to give them a new beginning, we thank you.
With sincere gratitude,
Sr. Mary Alyce Koval, OSU
